<lj:music>Sonic Youth - "Kim Gordon and the Arthur Doyle Hand Cream"</lj:music>

I saw "Team America: World Police" today and it was great. I enjoyed watching Team America battle terrorists and the Film Actors Guild (F.A.G.). It is quite possibly the greatest puppet movie ever made.

Last night I watched "Mean Girls" because my mom rented it and said it was good. I tend not to trust her (though she did like "Team America") but I gave it a shot because there were a few people in the cast that I like and Lindsay Lohan has big boobs. Well the movie was pure shit for about 20-25 minutes, but eventually there were some funny parts, then some unfunny parts. Amy Poehler was really funny as "the cool mom" but she was really underused. One of the "mean girls" is supposed to be borderline retarded and she had some pretty funny lines. It wasn't a terrible movie but definitely not great. Long story short, what I'm saying is... Lindsay Lohan has big boobs.

Best Buy is a cult.

It just gets more awesome every time I watch it.

I hope today is cool. I've got the vampire's class and Photojournalism, a.k.a. <lj:music>Pearl Jam - "Cropduster"</lj:music>

A lot of people have been talking about orgies and chocolate cum on livejournal and AIM lately.

Yesterday I was in Houma and I was behind this van at a red light. I'm braking and there is still a decent amount of space between me and this van and there's this little girl in the back holding her hand out at me like "STOP!!!" but I'm not even close. And then I inched up about 3 inches and she was really looking pissed. She held her hand like that for the WHOLE FUCKING RED LIGHT. When it turned green the van accelerated and only when they were about 20-30 feet in front of me did that little bitch indicate that it was okay for me to drive. In retrospect I regret not following them. That little bitch-child is going to grow up and send some poor guy into therapy. I hate children.

I bought Mr. Show Season 4 at Sam Goody and I watched half of it last night.

Today will be the last day of our really long 'fall break.'

Dumb things I read make me mad.

I desperately need to take some pictures. I took half of a roll at Main Stream a month ago and I haven't taken any since. I've brought my camera to school with me but I haven't taken any pictures. Luke... <lj:music>The Clash - "Clampdown"</lj:music>

Yeah so since I've been "gone" all I've done is school. I occasionally go to Houma but only if there's a show or for Chinese.
Last night I figured since we have cable internet now I could go watch the Stella short films since it wouldn't take eight years like the last time I tried with dial-up. Well their site isn't working, but, thanks to Ellen, I burned three of them on CD. We're going to continue this from time to time because she has all of them on her computer and before last night I had only seen one. The ones I saw last night were "Pizza," "Moustaches," and "Audition." "Pizza" was by far one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. This doesn't begin to touch upon its total awesomeness, but the idea of someone not being able to go inside a pizza parlor because they have "the farts" and then running away like a little girl made me laugh really hard.
Oh yeah, I also found out that The Gnatster is stalking me and wants my bling bling.
Colin, seriously, the idea of robots sounds good on paper, but when they take over and destroy you like they will destroy all of us (except Luke since he knows Satan), you won't find them so cool.

    <lj:music>The Cure - "The Lovecats"</lj:music>

School has been going okay so far. Yesterday I hated my two MACO classes, but I had them both today and I liked them for the most part. In photojournalism we were learning about the phot-editing program on the computer and we got to do funny things with a picture that had the word "Extremo" written at the top.
Saturday night I returned to Main Stream to watch the Mexicants, but I sat through others first. The Alamo-haters put on a pretty good show, with a special guest appearance by Matt Morvant on two songs. After that one of the Walk Through Walls guys got in an argument with that Dwayne guy that owns the place. The WTW dude kept calling him a crackhead. It amusing and odd all at the same time. A bunch of people asked me why I didn't film since my camera was in my hand. It happened so fast and I was enjoying watching it so the thought never crossed my mind.
After the show I went to Adam's because there was supposed to be a get-together. There was but I was not enjoying myself as much as a I thought I would so I only stayed about an hour. On the upside I did get to see Barbie do the "Thriller" dance and Adam made me a copy of the CD from Tipitina's. When I left I brought Josh home and Terrell had to crash at my house because he was not in a good condition to drive home. He did have some funny things to say while he was drunk, probably because he never stopped talking. My cousin called me a few times that night as well because she was having a bad night. We ended up talking for a while.
Yesterday my government teacher was talking about the Magna Carta and he wrote "Magna Carter" on the board.
I have some math homework to do.

Since my last update I have two movies to briefly talk about:
"The Village" was not that great, but definitely not as terrible as some people say. It's worth seeing for the perfomances by Bryce Dallas Howard and Adrien Brody. "Collateral" was really good. Tom Cruise was surprisingly believable as a hitman, despite the hair. Jamie Foxx did a good job also.
School started today. I saw almost everybody.
Okay, "A Mighty Wind" was great. "Starsky and Hutch" wasn't. The movie was about half way done before I could even get into it. Funny moments were few and far between (yes, some of it was enjoyable). It's not a terrible movie. It just could have been a lot better.
Secondly, comments on the last post show me that there are at least two other people that read this crap. It was pretty fun despite the fact that I have no musical talent. The only crappy part about it is that there are these douchebags that go there with no shopping agenda or to look at things... they just go to play and show off. We ate at Denny's after. Not much to talk about there.
Not long ago I returned from talking to Andrew at Top 10. Turns out he will continue working there after all. He humored me with stories.
Well the computer is up to its old tricks again. I am not at my house writing this. Last night I told Josh that the computer got over this thing it had for two days where it actually let me sign on. He seemed upset at my updates once again going away so I am using Terrell's computer for today at least. No telling when the next update will be or whose computer it will be typed on.
Not a lot has happened since I last updated (like always). I bought a DVD of Sonic Youth videos that is (mostly) pretty good (especially the Jason Lee appearance). Saturday night me, Brandon, Adam, Barbie, Terrell, and Chris watched some pretty funny ebaumsworld videos on Brandon's computer. I especially enjoyed the tra-la-la guy and the rocket video. Oh yeah, and Princess was awesome too.
Sunday I went to my grandmother's house and it was hot because the air conditioner broke right before we got there. They got a new one immediately though. I watched the extras on the new SCTV DVD set in my nanny's room because she has the set.
Now I must share something from the "An Evening with Kevin Smith" DVD, partially because it's funny and partially because I am fascinated with how fucked up Prince's mind works:
Prince: "A big snake gives birth to a baby snake. What does that baby snake grow up to be?"
Kevin: "...A big snake?"
Prince: "Right. Now that snake grows up to be a big snake and it has a baby snake. Josh and Luke are looking for an apartment. I'm sure they are probably other upcoming moves I don't know about because I sometimes am left out of the loop. As for me, I don't have enough money to move out, plus I'm not confident enough in myself to handle school and a job. I'd probably screw up one or both of them if I had both at the same time. <lj:music>The Beatles - "Rock & Roll Music"</lj:music>

I just typed an entry and accidentally erased it. I don't feel like retyping everything, so here's a summary:
No class tomorrow, final is Thursday, my mom doesn't know I'm 20, got to listen to Group X, looked at funny stuff in Barbie's old yearbooks, watching the Beatles Anthology, I want to see "Anchorman," and my car needs an oil change.

I'm very close to murdering an inanimate object (this computer).
I haven't really done very much since I last updated. I don't have class today but tomorrow I have a test. Went to my grandmother's yesterday. That wasn't very fun (it usually isn't), mainly for the simple facts that no one talks at a normal register and there's nothing fun to do.
Highlight of the weekend: Last night, my sister-in-law called me while she was drunk. It was very amusing. She bragged about eating watermelon with ketchup. I guess 6 beers and 2 wine coolers will do that to you.

    <lj:music>The Mexicants - "Johnny Bravo"</lj:music>

The Mexicants were good last night as were Don't Look Down. DLD made a bad Louisiana joke, but whatever. They were really good. Maybe not the most original, but a lot better than all the other shit you hear in Houma. The cops came because there was some dispute between the owners of Rock n Sake or some shit like that and long story short, probably no more shows at that place. Oh yeah, and the cops were dicks.

Later Chase cursed at the Taco Bell lady.

Went to Lagniappe after for Jam Night and saw some well-played but boring blues music (with the exception of the dorky white bassist who played "Rapper's Delight").

To quote Terrell Clark: "Muh.........wuh......"

    <lj:music>The Cure - "Us or Them"</lj:music>

Today was kind of cool. I went to good ol' BSI Comics, where I had not been since I think January. Got to eat at Applebee's. Went to Barnes & Noble and my wonderful godmother bought me the new Cure CD. When I got back I visited Terrell and then we went to Books-a-Million. On the way back, some stupid dog ran in the middle of the road and stopped and stared and Terrell almost hit it. That dog is an idiot.
This new Cure stuff is off-putting but not in a bad way. The song "Before Three" is the one I've liked the best so far, but I'm not done yet. Okay, now this one is pretty good... "Us or Them."
WOOO Mexicants tomorrow night.

    <lj:music>311 - "Homebrew"</lj:music>

I've had the house to myself all day and I haven't done anything really. My nanny called and I talked to her. I talked to some people online. I listened to John Frusciante's new album, "The Will to Death," which is excellent. In a bit I shall probably shower and then watch the "Empire Records" Remix Edition, which I noticed has some extra scenes put back into it. Yeah that movie really isn't very good, but I've liked it for years... and I don't know why. It's just dumb fun I guess. The Gnatster herself seems to agree with me.

Oh yeah... at the show this girl with ICP-esque black clown metal makeup pulled at my hair... not very hard at all... and then when I turned around all she said was "I don't know why I did that" and walked away. Earlier in the show she and one of her fellow retardates struggled to get on camera as I was filming. They've done this before. I've seen them at many shows, sometimes dressed as the Statue of Liberty (complete with a torch) or just typical druggy, attention-starved Houma kids who go to shows in their "goth" clothes (black t-shirts & pants and spike bracelets). Note to those people... only Chuck Noblet can pull off the spike bracelet look.

    <lj:music>The Mexicants - "Fuck the Alamo"</lj:music>

Yeah the show was really good. I enjoyed it immensely, plus I always have a good time with that many people that I think are cool are there. Even JUSTIN BARBIER showed up and it was awesome. The Mexicants have another show this Thursday with Don't Look Down at Rock n Sake and I will not be able to attend because I have a damn summer class the next morning.
This morning my mom left for Houston for some work-related thing and won't be back until Saturday. My dad is bringing her there and won't be back until tomorrow so if anyone reads this today... LET'S PARTY. Same goes for next Friday when he picks her up.
